in Taiwan, announced today that National Science Council, the leading
government authority on nanotechnology and hi-tech publications will use
the latest version of ATG’s flagship e-commerce platform ATG 6.4 Commerce
to launch their G2C e-commerce initiative. Starting in March, 2005, National
Science Council’s customers will be able to purchase traditional and digital
nanotechnology and high-tech publications on the Internet while unifying
ten e-commerce sites on one platform – ATG Commerce (part of the ATG Customer
Experience Platform). National Science Council’s new government-to-consumer
site will allow customers personalized buying experiences, convenient
single sign-on for multiple government Web sites, order status and history
checks, product comparisons, advanced promotions, advanced search, and
multi-channel purchasing options. National Science Council’s requirements
include integration with existing ERP systems based on BEA WebLogic application

an open bid process interviewing twenty vendors before the bid date. Finalists
